Has written a book about a CONSENSUAL sexual relationship that she had with her father for over a decade.

You know, her father of the musical group, the Mama's and the Papa's, from the 60's.

If this relationship were consensual, Mackenzie would have had to have been 18 years or older when it was conceived.

Sorry, but I have a difficult time believing that there wasn't any sexual contact between Mackenzie and her father until the time she was 18 years of age or older.

Mackenzie states that she isn't mentally ill; however there is something definitely not right with a person who proclaims to have had a sexual relationship with her father for over ten years and later writes about it in a book and refers to it as CONSENSUAL because she was over the age of 18.

She obviously has a problem with knowing the difference between what is MORALLY right and what is MORALLY wrong.

Phillips told Oprah that she was hoping to help others.

Excuse me, but any adult who commits to a sexual relationship with their father for ten years and considers the same to be a rational decision on their part because they consented to it, IMO, is not capable of helping others.

Oh, and BTW, thanks OPRAH WINFREY for providing publicity to Mackenzie's public acknowledgement of the consensual sexual relationship she had with her father.

Is Mackenzie's book on your suggested reading list because I certainly want to know all about it.

Cried about what?

The fact that Mackenzie proclaims that she had a consensual sexual relationship with her father?

It was consensual.

MacKenzie agreed to it.

What are the tears about?

It's not like Mackenzie is saying that she was sexually abused by her father.

She is saying that she consented to having sex with her father.

Why the tears?

One Day At A Time
a number of years ago.

Somewhat of a reunion. Long time no see.

In your earlier post: you mentioned you didn't know,
even though you ran that reason by.

One Day At A Time:
first aired in 1975 and ran until 1984 (wikipedia)
Mackenzie-Philips was fired in 1982 (drug/drinking problems)

Mackenzie and her daddy lived their incest at full.
The photos , the video clips, the interview of that time reveal that the incest was consensual.
Undoubtedly in this case there was no abuse, something that makes us to feel a relief.
