Another interesting point is that the symbol the medical and pharmacutical industry uses...

I've heard different interpretations of this particular icon; I think of the cadeuceus: it represents the bronze snake held up in the Sainai desert for the healing of the people, and in fact it was a prophetic figure of Christ crucified.
Perhaps the snake, as a pagan symbol, does not belong in medical iconography?
Interesting that in "dealing with the world (those who by their spiritual blindness are dangerous)", we are cautioned to be "wise as snakes." Snakes are quiet, move by stealth, and would rather evade and escape than face an unknown force or number.
Wicca is the religion for frustrated feminist bitches who can't get a man who love them. "I am so special because I am a woman...I am so much in contact with Nature..." what B.S.
It is just the usual contact with spirit guides (demons) and stupid tricks that the demons allow them to perform to give them a feeling of power, like astral projection, distance vision and all this crap that boast the ego of these women.
In fact, Wicca starts like a nice thing but easily degenerates, like all occult religions, into a power battle, sending demons and curses against one another and falling more and more into depravity to gain more power. Soon they worshipping the horned god who is really Satan and falling into black magic, with the sacrifices and all.
Well, if you consider the basics of the creation and fall, the first seduction on earth was the seduction of Eve by Lucifer. Eve bit the "apple" and at that moment her eyes were opened. She knew what she did and she knew the consequences, more or less.
Did she cry for God's forgiveness, or run to warn Adam not to make the same mistake?
No. She went to Adam and seduced him the same way.
And so it is that all through history, men are taught openly to wield their earthly authority with justice and mercy, but women are taught in secret how to wield their powers of seduction and manipulation. This is probably the basis of black magick.

Have you noticed that the bible doesn't say "apple" anywhere! Here is the quote:-
And the woman saw that the tree was good for food,
and it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the FRUIT thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
Yeah, good point. The bright red apple often seen in parodies of Eden is luscious and inviting (for those of us who know what an apple is!), and so is used as a visual metaphor of what we can only imagine was on the original tree.
And another thing: I am too finished with all of this nonsense about the "apple" being sex. Sex? Really? Is that what was forbidden? Give me a break; God likes sex, He invented it, no? :-)
Sorry, guys, the "apple" as the fruit in Genesis as well as the story that goes along with it is a result of the Jews stay in Babylon.
It was partially fairy tale to introduce small children to the advent of man and his fall from grace with the gods.
Adults understand it on another and higher level, having nothing to do with fruit in it's literal sense or a tree. As with so much in the Bible, it depends on your level of understanding to determine what you get from what you read.
