Vladimir Putin is one of the few world leaders capable of rattling the foundations of U.S. hegemony: military dominance and the dollar’s supremacy as reserve currency. Engdahl shows that the recent election protests in Russia were orchestrated by Washington-sponsored NGOs and domestic agents in an unsuccessful attempt to destabilize the country. With the rapid erosion of U.S. global dominance, Engdahl warns that the neutralization of Russia and other recalcitrant states will again be on the agenda of the next White House occupant.
