Pardon me?

Recall that Bush père gave Christmas Eve pardons a month before leaving office to Caspar Weinberger and five others implicated in the Iran-Contra Affair.

Weinberger's alleged crime? Lying to Congress and to the Independent Counsel.

--------------------------------------
Clinton pardoned HUNDREDS of criminals.

Does anybody know what the maximum amount

of pardons that a president can give in total ?
