According to sources, individual colour laser printers print a unique series of yellow dots on each page printed that identifies that particular printer.

Your printer upon switch on, often prints a registration page for you to post back to the manufacturer for its warranty.

It would ask you for your name, address and whether or not you are a business. (I doubt anyone would put in the "Business type" box: radical extremist).
