Like we didn't see it coming! But public disclosure means that the evolution of public policy now begins in earnest, hopefully.

Why is it that "CIA" and "torture" seem intimately linked in the popular mind? Are they really synonymous? Or is this their solution to the Weberian Dilemma?

Another thing to consider is that our agencies do not have the monopoly on trauma-based mind control. There are foreign private- and state-funded projects which most likely use unique codes, keys, and triggers, as well as their own inner constructs such as Dante's Divine Comedy for alter structuring and hierarchy.

Severe distress may be the only thing to "hack the lock" on some of these cases.

Well, hey, it's a legit concern, and quite frankly, it's a lot scarier to the bad guys than it is to us. Pucker Factor = MC squared (hint!! :-o ).

Annnnnnnnd another thing: how come something becomes an "issue" just 'cause the local tele station decided to run reports on it ad nauseam?

CIA is nothing " ... there are at least 2 dozen

other "secret" organizations such as the NSA,

Naval Intelligence etc etc PLUS the black OPs

and some have BIGGER budgets than the CIA ...

so you see even here WE KNOW NOTHING about

the reality of things.

He who thinks he knows all is not playing with a full deck. Good point; the CIA gets all the boos for being bad children while the real bullies have their hands in the cookie jar, BUT DON'T TELL ANYONE!!! :-o

What I meant in the last post is that "Nuclear Spies" or those deemed a danger to nuclear security might be the ones getting the royal chamber treatment, that's all.
