MadMel believes that she and the other posters at BTX are the only people concerned about the trapped miners.

They live in the confines of a very limited world.

MadMel said:

Guys - CNN is reporting that a microphone lowered into that third hole has picked up a series of "sharp noises of unknown origin" from the Utah coal mine where those six men are trapped. Although it's too early to get our hopes up too high, it just might mean that at least some of these men have survived. Lord knows, we could use some good news from somewhere!

----------------------------------------------

Notice how she says, "althought it's too early to get OUR hopes up too high..."

As if the only concerned people are she and the posters at BTX.

Gee, I wonder if the family members are getting their hopes up high?

Pamela Springsteen (Bring'em home) thinks that she and her cohorts at BTX are all writers.

Same as Paddy. Remember, before he bailed, he was writing an article for an unknown magazine.

Therefore, MadMel states that being a "writer" does NOT give one license to make up words.

Since they're "sadistic pigs," I wonder where they received their license?

From the CIA, perhaps?

One of my favorite songs is "Tainted Love" by Soft Cell.

WapWap, a poster at BTX, whose signature picture line says, "Are you going live your life standing in the back looking aroung?, made a comment on a thread, "tainted," and afterwards, another comment, "Soft Cell."

I've been singing this song in my house for a few days.

Interesting!

Oh, I'm lookin' around alright.

Lookin' right at you and everything you say and do.

You can take that to the bank!

When anyone uses the words, "nuff said," they lose any little bit of credibility they may have had.

When anyone has to resort to the use of profane language such as c*unt or d*ick they lose any little bit of credibility they may have had with me.

At this point, I can say with 99.9%, I don't believe there is ONE poster on the BTX site who is not one of THEM.

Maybe a stray CAT or two, but other than that.

NO WAY!!

All players!

That's my assessment.

Oh, yes, Chris posts 24/7/365 because he has a business.

As far as 30 seconds, thanks, but I'm always in control.

My MO may, at times, lead you to believe otherwise, but rest assured, I am the captain of my ship.

In Peace,
BlueAngel

Join me in a prayer:

My son tonight
he shed a light
he said, oh mom,
you fought the fight
you never let the bastards win
oh, mom, you're strong
just don't give in

I said, my son
I love you so
I never wanted you to know
about the filth they shed on me
I never wanted this to be

but, oh, my son
I am so proud
of all you are
and oh, somehow
we'll make it through
You'll be right there
and in your father's arms
we'll share
the truth that I must bring to light
the reason that I fought the fight

I believe in America
and what she should be
and not what they tried
to make of me

I did it so the world could see
no matter what
no matter what
no mater what
they did to me

that one day I would have my say
and Springsteen
he'd be sent away

I did it so the world could see
what they tried to make of me
what they want to make of us
I fought the fight
for what's UNJUST

forgive me God for I have sinned
but do you know where I have been?

I've met the devil
I was in their world
I spit in their face
this little girl

I cursed their ways
I scratched Springsteen's face
I swore to him
he'd live in disgrace

forgive me God for I have sinned
but do you know where I have been?

Violent tendencies!

That about says it all.

Any little thing ticked Springsteen off.

His audience even ticks him off.

Reason to tell them to STFU or throw Christmas candy canes back at them in front of children.

Better behave, or else.

Silence, as he demands at some of his shows.

I need silence!!!

Yeah, Wade, I agree, you better tend to tying up those "loose ends."

THE OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE HAS DESCENDED UPON US

Jon Landau speaks FOR THE BOSS in Rolling Stone:

On October 2nd Bruce Springsteen will release Magic, his first album with the E Street Band since 2002’s The Rising. “We’ve been together since 1974 and I don’t think I’ve ever seen him more excited than he is right now about this record,” says Jon Landau, Springsteen’s manager.

Ooohhh, MAGIC. Landau has never seen Springsteen MORE EXCITED. What? Is he a little boy or something? Hasn't he been doing this for decades?

The album was cut over two months at Southern Tracks studios in Atlanta with producer Brendan O’Brien, who previously worked with Springsteen on 2005’s Devils & Dust and The Rising.

The E Street Band mostly flew down on weekends to record, while Springsteen and O’Brien spent weekdays cutting vocals and recording overdubs. “This album is E Street Band heavy,” Landau says. “Clarence [Clemons] has some great moments on it. You could say that it’s as little more sonically guitar-driven than any past Bruce album. There are a few sort of pop, romantic touches that haven’t shown up recently, but were very prominent on the very early records.”

What's an overdub?

The lead single will be “Radio Nowhere,” a track Landau says “has a real anthemic quality to it. If it doesn’t get you out of your seat, I don’t know what will.” Landau is particularly excited about “The Long Walk Home,” which was performed live (click here to listen to an audience recording) on one occasion on the Seeger Sessions tour late last year. “It’s sort of the summational song of the album,” Landau says. “I think it’s one of Bruce’s great masterpieces.” Another track, “Girls in Their Summer Clothes,” Landau says has a “little bit of a Pet Sounds-type feeling mixed in with the sound of the E Street Band.” The final track, “Devil’s Arcade,” is described as one of the only songs on the album that delves into politics. “He gets some images across that are very powerful and will certainly give you a feeling of where he’s coming from, but on balance [politics] is not the primary intention of this record.”

Rock and Roll musicians don't produce masterpieces. And, since Springsteen doesn't write all of his songs, I think you'll have to credit the "ghost writers," too for this so-called masterpiece. Bethovan, perhaps. Landau is now EXCITED about the song, "The Long Walk Home." Oh, the excitement over songs!!! The Devil's Arcade delves into politics. Oh, WOW! A song about politics and it delves right into it. What? It lasts about three minutes tops. I bet that political message is really going to have a profound effect on the state of our world. Wouldn't be the first time Springteen references the devil. Seems he has a personal relationship with him.

A world tour with the E Street Band is reportedly going to kick off in early October, but Landau remains tight-lipped on the details. “As we speak, the tour has not been fully decided,” he says. Springsteen is also planning to promote the album on television, including late-night talk shows.

Well, of course he has to promote it. Just tell him not to sing cause his vocals are trashed and his CD's have been enhanced so his voice sounds completely different live than on an album.

“What do you think about us doing American Idol?” Landau asks. “Come on, I’m kidding!”

Track Listing:

1. “Radio Nowhere”
2. “You’ll Be Comin’ Down”
3. “Livin’ in the Future”
4. “Your Own Worst Enemy”
5. “Gypsy Biker”
6. “Girls in Their Summer Clothes”
7. “I’ll Work for Your Love”
8. “Magic”
9. “Last to Die”
10. “Long Walk Home”
11. “Devil’s Arcade”

------------------------------------------------

Love that "trigger" song:

"Your own worst enemy."

I suppose Springsteen sings about himself in this one.

I guess Patti is making Springsteen work for her love with one of the title tracks, "I'll Work For Your Love."

Or, could be a male, a "little girl." We just don't know yet. Maybe he's referring to Landau!

If it's Patti, that's too bad. Seems like after so many years of wedded bliss, you shouldn't have to work for your spouse's love.

Maybe she's sadistic, too!

Oh, well, we'll see what this one's about.
