Re: MIND CONTROL, THE MUSIC INDUSTRY AND BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN
Look at this:
From a poster at BTX:
BOSS TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just back from show. Great show . Poor crowd, Some sections didn't even stand up for Radio Nowhere. Is anyone alive out there? A lot of empty seats. But still a great show.

OMGoodness!
Call the police.
Some sections didn't stand up when Radio Nowhere was performed.
Re: MIND CONTROL, THE MUSIC INDUSTRY AND BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN
Frightening!
All these children in the PIT!
Regarding the song Ramrod that was performed at tonight's show:
Certainly a 6/10 year old knows the meaning to this song.
From BTX:
The Kid was a 6-10 year old in the front of the pit that JAMMED ALL NIGHT. Bruce saw his "homemade sign" and grabbed it and showed it to everyone to reveal the song. He told everyone that he was rocking hard all night (to paraphrase). At the end of the song, Bruce was interacting again with him and clearly enjoying the excitement of the boy.
He touched the guitar during BTR, got the setlist, drumsticks from Max as well as having a memory for a lifetime.
Wish I was in the Pit tonight - I was lower towards the back. Glad everyone had a good time at the show!

Another poster one night commented that his 9 year old daughter said the show changed her life.
Huh???
Another poster, because his daughter was able to strum Springsteen's guitar during a show, started a thread that said:
"I hate my KID."
Imagine that!!
Hating your child because they strummed Springsteen's guitar and you didn't.
Re: MIND CONTROL, THE MUSIC INDUSTRY AND BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN
This man is almost 60 and, last night, there was another tour premiere.
Be True
Bruce Springsteen
Your scrapbook's filled with pictures of all your leading men
Well baby don't put my picture in there with them
Don't make us some little girl's dream that can't ever come true
That only serves to hurt and make you cry like you do
Well baby don't do it to me and I won't do it to you
You see all the romantic movies, you dream and take the boys home
But when the action fades you're left all alone
You deserve better than this, little girl, can't you see that you do
Do you need somebody to prove it to you?
Well you prove it to me and I'll prove it to you
Now every night you go out looking for true love's satisfaction
But in the morning you end up settling for just lights, camera, action
And another cameo role with some bit player you're befriending
You're gonna go broken-hearted looking for that happy ending
Well girl you're gonna end up just another lonely ticket sold
Cryin' alone in the theater as the credits roll
You say I'll be like those other guys
Who filled your head with pretty lies
And dreams that can never come true
Well baby you be true to me
---------------------------------------------
After or before, not sure, he sings this childish song, he and the wife then perform a "Town Called Heartbreak."
Oh, yes.
The message!
Incredible!
I think Springsteen needs to UPDATE his scrap book.
Can you imagine anyone wanting to hear this song?????
Re: MIND CONTROL, THE MUSIC INDUSTRY AND BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN
When I listen closely.
Outside the window.
I hear a shovel.
Gently scraping on the concrete.
Gently tapping after the scraping.
A strange sound
In the darkness of the day
What ever fore is that shovel scraping
Will it scrape for as long as this God foresaken thread.
Will I ever see this message again as BlueAngle will probably shit 50 pages of crap onto this thread before I come back.
More to the point, will I care as the shovel gently scrapes?
